World Book Day 2022
Westfield celebrates the 25th anniversary of World Book Day
On Thursday 3rd March Westfield celebrated the 25th anniversary of World Book Day in style with children dressing up as characters from their favourite book.
Pupils engaged with a variety of reading activities throughout the day including talking about their favourite characters and also questioning the teachers to find out which books they used to love when they were children.
Other activities included making character puppets and character cakes and also a book scavenger hunt that proved to be really popular.
Music sessions were also all linked to World Book Day and the children loved making up stories through music.
